WBCS stands for West Bengal Civil Service. The WBCS (Exe.) Examination is a prestigious and competitive civil service examination.

WBCS examination is conducted by the West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC).

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university to apply for this exam.

The age limit for candidates applying for the position of BDO is generally between 21 and 36 years.

The WBCS BDO Exam has several stages. To become a BDO you have to go through all the stages.

These stages are- 1. Preliminary     Examination 2. Main Examination 3. Personality Test     (Interview)

Preliminary Examination: Number of Questions: 200 Total Marks: 200 Duration of Exam: 2 hours 30 minutes.

If you pass the Preliminary Exam, you will get a call for the Main Exam and then the Interview.
